 1) It is a play by William Shakespeare and it was written in 1564 and it published by Penguin Popular Classics. It is a tragic Drama.

2) A tragedy where characters submitted a fate. It is a story of two star-crossed lovers born on an unlucky star or have to face a curse. Opposing families they are enemies wealthy to get power. Romeo has been banished. He killed murderer of Mercutio.

The prologue introduces the story, the characters and the setting (= mise en contexte).

When Elisabeth met Count Darcy

 

The young woman Elisabeth and Count Darcy. Elisabeth was the second child of her familiy.Her family was from the upper middle-class. The Count Darcy was a rich man. Elisabeth and Count Darcy were invited at a party. When they met at this party, contrary to the other love stories, they weren't in love at first sight. At this party, they kept on quarrelling. Elisabeth thought Darcy was pretentious and proud. Darcy thought Elisabeth wasn't an exceptionnal woman. Actually, they fell in love but they wouldn't believe it.
